What are Waste Compactors?
Waste compactors compress waste materials thus cutting down the amount of space the waste takes up. For example, a portable waste compactor can contain many times its volume of waste compared to a skip, resulting in less collections and reduced disposal costs.
The benefits a waste compactor can bring:
- Time savings and increased business efficiency
- Improved waste management
- Improvements within the working environment
- Reduced waste collection costs
Extensive Range of Waste Compactors for Sale
Mardon Recycling Machinery boasts a varied range of portable and static waste compactors for sale, lease or hire.
Portable Compactors
Portable Compactors are available in chain lift, also named ‘skip lift’ compactors, or roll-on/roll-off / hook lift. Chain lifts are normally supplied as smaller machines and can be easily transported by skip lift vehicles. Roll-on/roll-off compactors are picked up using the hooks and are typically larger machines and require suitably equipped trucks for transporting.
Static Compactors
Static compactors are compactors designed and manufactured for use with cardboard, plastics and general waste. They are designed to stay on your site and when the container is full, it is taken away for emptying and a replacement bin is put into position. The compactors are available in a range of sizes dependent on the volume of material the machine will be processing.
We sell a range of RamPak compactors including a drum press, bag press and granulator, as well as the more common static and portable versions.
