Dennis has been in the waste industry for over 15 years and has an extensive knowledge of the business in general. Dennis started working for Mardon Recycling Machinery Ltd in February 2011 and has worked his way up from a Sales Manager to Sales Director and most recently, in October 2013, he became our Managing Director.
His all-encompassing background in sales, and flexible approach to any situation, enables Dennis to efficiently resolve our customers’ requirements for all their waste necessities.
Natalie has been mainly in the accounting world since she left college. She began her professional career in practice and from that has gained a vast knowledge and understanding of accounting policies, legislation and tax planning.
She turned her hand from practice to industry in October 2011 when she began working for Mardon Recycling Machinery Ltd. After just a short space of time she was made Finance Director of the Mardon Group of Companies.
Sue started her career at Mardon Recycling Machinery Ltd in July 2009 and has hit the ground running so to speak. She is a methodical person which stands her in good stead for co-ordinating the sales team and organising all the administrative elements of a sale or hire contract.
Her meticulous and logical mind is paramount to the smooth running of the systems in place from the initial enquiry from a customer to the final signing of a hire contract and a machine being delivered efficiently and appropriately.
Our Service Co-coordinator Lin is based at our Office Head quarters in North Devon where she has settled into the team exceptionally well.
She has seized the opportunities presented within her role, and beyond, to expand herself and develop the company as a whole. Lin has already proved herself to be a valuable member of our team and an asset to the company.
James started working for Mardon’s in June 2015 and has come from an accountancy background, in which he worked in practice for nearly 5 years. From this, he has gained a rounded knowledge of accounting systems and the ability to deal with client expectations and demands in which will be put to the highest level at Mardon’s.
Having become AAT qualified and part ACCA qualified, his knowledge ventures out into the vast areas of management accounts, costings and tax, all in which brings added experience to the team here at Mardon’s.
Finance and HR
Sharmaine has proven herself to be invaluable and a real asset to the company. Her precision and acute eye for detail is key to a successful accounts department. She has an affable nature and is an excellent team player, always willing to take on more work. Sharmaine has just returned from maternity leave and is looking forward to settling back into her role on a part time basis on Mondays and Tuesdays
Junior Accounts Assistant
Chloe joined Mardon Recycling Machinery Ltd in January 2016 after completing a Health and Social Care Diploma at Petroc College. This is Chloe’s first role in industry and she was originally employed as a Junior Administrator. Chloe was eager to progress and when Kelly moved to the servicing department, Chloe took up the challenge of the Junior Accounts role. She is a fast learner and has taken over the purchase ledger.
Serena joined the Mardon team as a Service Administrator in October 2016 and has since passed her probation period with flying colours proving herself to be a valuable asset to the company. She has over 8 years of working within an office environment and has come from a mainly customer service background. She has gained vast experience in customer service and is now developing her career at Mardon, assisting Lin in the day to day activities of the service department. She is well liked and respected by suppliers and customers alike and has taken over the development of our new CRM system which is now imminent.
Roxana is one of our new recruits at Mardon. She brings with her a wide range of skills from working in accounts, sales and administration for companies at multinational and national level as well as a leading University. Roxana holds a qualification in Business Administration and is currently studying for her CIMA qualification. She looks forward to bringing her organisational skills to Mardon.
Luke started with us in June 2016, having just completed a 9-year contract with the RAF as an avionics/electrical engineer, where he completed various electrical and PLC qualifications. He started with us as a Workshop/Field Engineer. His potential and drive were soon revealed and he is now our Workshop Manager driving the workshop forward with his innovative ideas and skills. His gentle manner, good sense of humour and "can do" attitude has put him in good stead with our customers and staff members.
Nathan originally started with Mardon in 2009 as a Workshop/Field Engineer. After a year out exploring other industries and enhancing his knowledge he came back to Mardon to use his new found theories and techniques to help enhance the workshop. Nathan has an extensive and valuable wealth of experience when it comes to our machinery and customers. He is a valued member of the team.
Paul started with Mardon in 2011 as a Field Engineer based near Leeds. Paul has a wealth of knowledge in the engineering industry and is an exceptional welder. He is a genuine person which leads to great customer relations and his ability to resolve issues makes him a valued member of the team.
Head Field Engineer
Stuart joined Mardon in 2009 as a Field Engineer based in the Northampton area. His previous experience and knowledge of all aspects of engineering and his can do attitude has enabled Stuart to progress to Head Field Engineer. Stuart is very proud of the work he does and customers receive the very best in customer service from him. He is a valuable asset to Mardon’s team.
Steve has recently joined the Mardon Team in May 2016 based in Worcester. He has had nearly 40 years’ experience in the engineering industry including time served within the Royal Pioneers British Army. He is a friendly, approachable person with a can do attitude and is looking forward to making a difference and providing our customers with exceptional customer service.
Mike is another of our newest recruits, starting with us in June 2016. Mike has been an engineer at a local company in Devon for the past 27 years. He is a qualified Engineer with 41 years’ experience within 2 positions of precision and maintenance engineering. He is a loyal and committed person and is looking forward to becoming part of our team and getting stuck into refurbishing our equipment. We are looking forward to working with him and will post a picture asap so keep coming back to see when he starts.
Steve joined the Mardon team of Field Engineers in 2012 based in Leicester. We have since found out he is camera shy but luckily he is a knowledgeable and experienced engineer so we’ll let him off! He specialises in electrics and PLC systems which is ideal for our larger semi/fully automatic horizontal machines.
